This month we're celebrating 5 years of trading! We're proud of what we've already achieved and can't wait for further challenges. Read this short blog to find out how much we have grown so far!
How it all begins
We've started as a team of 5 in a small room. And even though we were a part of Stockport Homes Group, we were building a new brand, which is always hard work. We formed a construction division before we hit 9 employees and started our first construction project - roofing on properties across Romiley in January 2017.
Hard work, rewarding projects
In the year 2017/2018 we were working on multiple projects of buildings alterations and improvements. This year we installed 338 doors and improved 247 canopies and 218 roofs! And our team reached only 31 people by then.
RoSPA Gold Award and other nominations
2019 was another fantastic year! In March we achieved a prestigious RoSPA Gold Award in recognition of good health and safety management practices and achievements in ensuring the safety of our employees, customers and contractors. We were also shortlisted in The UK Housing Awards as a Contractor of the Year, and two of our apprentices were shortlisted for BMI Apprentice, the country's top twenty roofing apprentices!
New Online Estate Agency
Even though 2020 was a weird year, full of inconvenience and changes, we launched an online estate agency: Three Sixty Living. We have a dedicated team to removing risk for landlords across Greater Manchester while ensuring tenants have a safe and great experience too. We're one of a kind as we do not absorb any extra costs that many high-street agents pass on landlords and offer guaranteed rent to landlords. In 2021 we won The British Property Lettings Award for being the best' Estate Agent' in Stockport.
How it's going...
This actual year is another good one. We formed a new maintenance division to maintain all SHG properties in Stockport. We also started our first new build project! Our turnover reached over £17m, and as we're a profit for purpose company, we've donated over £430k to Stockport Foundations to make communities around us a better place to live. On our 5th Anniversary, we have been one more time nominated to the prestigious UK Housing Awards in the category Contractor of the Year, so this day couldn’t get any better!
We are working on several exciting projects around Stockport and Greater Manchester, and we're ready for more!
