From routine repairs to emergency callouts, our tradespeople take pride in their work and play a vital role in supporting local communities.
You might have spotted our Three Sixty vans out and about in Stockport, they are smart, well-stocked, and ready for the next job. Inside one of them is Kane, a skilled joiner who has been part of our team for the past three years. He’s one of around ten joiners who help deliver essential repairs across more than 12,000 social and private homes.
We recently joined Kane for a morning to see what a typical day looks like for a Three Sixty operative, just one of the many tradespeople who play such a visible and vital role in keeping homes safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
“It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s always important,” Kane explains. “We’re in people’s homes, fixing problems quickly and that means a lot to people.”
From a simple lock replacement, to checking on safety access with our Customer Liaison Officers, no two days are ever the same. Every job is approached with care, professionalism, and respect for the customer.

Kane takes pride in his van being clean, organised, and fully stocked which reflects how seriously our operatives take their work.
“It’s your workspace. If it’s clean and organised, it makes the day a whole lot easier,” he says.
This attention to detail ensures that customers receive a fast and reliable service, with the right tools and parts always on hand.
Sometimes, the work involves more sensitive situations. On the day we visited, Kane joined a Customer Liaison Officer to support a household that hadn’t responded to requests for essential safety checks. While legal entry is always a last resort, our team focuses on respectful communication and customer wellbeing.
“We don’t want to force entry,” Kane says. “We want to keep things respectful but also safe.”
Later in the day, Kane was back to hands-on repairs and area which he enjoys most about his role. A door catching on the floor was quickly adjusted, and by the end of the visit, the customer could use it with ease again. For Kane, jobs like kitchen refurbishments are the most rewarding:
“They’re the best jobs because you can really get stuck in. At the end of the day, you’ve built something that’s made a real difference.”
Alongside planned repairs, our team also provides 24/7 emergency cover. Kane, like all our operatives, takes his turn on the out-of-hours rota. Whether it’s helping a customer locked out of their home, making urgent repairs, or assisting emergency services, our team are always ready to respond.
Whether it’s replacing a broken lock, responding to a late-night callout, or completing a full kitchen refurbishment, Three Sixty’s operatives take great pride in their work and in supporting the communities we serve. Every job, no matter how big or small, is an opportunity to help customers feel safe, secure, and supported in their homes.
