- The project was commissioned by social housing landlord Stockport Homes Group
- The shortlisting is part of the Safety & Health Excellence Awards 2023
Following the 2017 Grenfell tragedy, housing associations across the UK have heavily invested in fire management and fire related control measures. Stockport Homes Group, Stockport’s largest landlord and social housing provider, prioritised investing in industry-leading fire safety projects well before Grenfell. Since the tragedy, the Group has continued to invest in health and safety projects including the one that Three Sixty has been shortlisted for – upgrading fire doors in high-rise tower blocks across the Borough.
Three Sixty worked diligently to replace flat entrance doors and frames, cross corridor doors and frames and to install fireboard fanlights in Stockport Homes properties. All installation was done in accordance with BM TRADA regulations.
Through the years, Three Sixty has maintained a high track record of health and safety practices and has been shortlisted in and won a number of health and safety-related awards and is a holder of the prestigious ROSPA Gold award.
The winners of the Safety & Health Excellence Awards will be revealed at a gala dinner on 26 April in Birmingham, hosted by Tess Daly.
