James Cosgrove, Contract Manager at Three Sixty, has won Non-Safety Professional of the Year at the North West Construction Safety Group Awards. The category recognises outstanding achievement of individuals in construction who go above and beyond their job description to keep workplaces safe.
James has spearheaded efforts at Three Sixty to ensure that construction sites throughout Stockport and Greater Manchester are as safe as possible, implementing new safety audits and chairing regular health and safety meetings with managers at Three Sixty.
James joined Three Sixty in October 2021, and throughout his tenure, the company has had a year without any accidents on any of its projects. This incredible achievement is testament to James’ work with health and safety, going beyond his job description to ensure that Three Sixty is one of the safest construction companies to work for.
James’ award success comes in a bolster year for Three Sixty, with the company having achieved the RoSPA Gold award for health and safety earlier in 2022. James Cosgrove’s drive for safety throughout the company has inculcated a culture which promotes safe working and the processes that he has enacted provide a better work environment for all employees.
James Cosgrove said, “I’m delighted to have won the Non-Safety Professional of the Year. To be recognised by a group of peers at this level means a lot, but to win an award for improving health and safety measures is something special.”
Phil Pemberton, Chair of the Board at Three Sixty, said, “James is always vigilant when it comes to health and safety, and it’s no surprise to anyone at Three Sixty that he won. Everyone at the company is delighted for James and we look forward to continued success in a bright career.”
